Pulixin 可防止 FREP1 与恶性疟原虫感染的细胞裂解物结合。Pulixin 可阻止寄生虫向蚊子传播，EC50 为 11 µM。Pulixin 也可抑制无性期恶性疟原虫的增殖，EC50 为 47 nM。

Pulixin prevents FREP1 from binding to P. falciparum-infected cell lysate. Pulixin blocks the transmission of the parasite to mosquitoes with an EC50 of 11 µM. Pulixin also inhibits the proliferation of asexual-stage P. falciparum with an EC50 of 47 nM[1].
