Principle:
(urease)
(1) Urea + H₂O → 2NH₃ + CO₂

(microbial glutamate dehydrogenase)
(2) 2-Oxoglutarate + NADPH + NH₄⁺ → L-glutamic acid + NADP⁺
+ H₂O
